The Buffalo Stampede were defeated by the Halifax Rainmen 124-105 at the Koessler Center in Buffalo, NY.  The Stampede were led by Corey Herring who had 34 points and 8 rebounds and Michael Norwood who had 33 points and 9 boards. Tihon Johnson added 18 points and 7 rebounds. The loss dropped the Stampede to 3-16 on the season

The winning Rainmen had 7 players in double figures led by Tony Bennett who had 20 points and Gregory Plummer who had 19. Other double figure scorers were Desmond Ferguson and Gary Gillimore with 17 a pieceand Gary Ervin and Mark Mazur with 13 a piece. Larry Turner had 11 for the Rainmen.  Halifax received great contributions from their bench outscoring the Stampede 55 to 18. 

The Stampede made a great run in the 4th quarter cutting the Halifax lead to 10 but couldn't get any closer. The Stampede will play their final game of the season this Saturday April 10th against league leading Lawton at the Koessler Center. Game time will be 7:30pm.
