The Maryland Greenhawks defeated the Buffalo Stampede 101-87 at the Koessler Center in Buffalo this afternoon. The Greenhawks had a balanced attack led by Scooter Sherill with 17 points. Terrance Mouton added 16 points for the Greenhawks.
The Stampede were led by Andy Robinson (UB) with 22 points. Derick Payne added 19 for Buffalo who fell to 0-3 on the season.The win improved Maryland's record to 1-3.
The next three games for the Stampede will be on the road, returning home on January 30th to play the Manchester Millrats. For tickets or team information please call 716-603-9749.
